Women's Activity Calendar

The Women’s Ministry at Grace church is dedicated to helping the ladies of our church grow.  By forming closer bonds within our church, reaching out to others in the community, and providing avenues for spiritual growth, we strive to develop a deeper relationship with one another and with Christ.  We do this through a number of recurring activities as well as through scheduled social activities.

Ladies Table

Through the Ladies Table, we Ladies Table Leaders Luncheonmeet in small groups each month to share a meal and to discuss current topics as they relate to God’s Word.  Several Bible Studies and Small Groups meet regularly in an effort to grow in God’s wisdom.  We have both morning and evening sessions to provide spiritual growth for as many women as possible.  We try to keep up to date with a variety of spiritual retreats and seminars that are available in the middle Georgia area.

Creative Workshops

In an effort to develop the creative gifts among our women, workshops are provided throughout the year, and to share laughter and harmony among friends. These have included painting at the local “Hammer and Stain” and paint classes with “Truth be Told”.

WROC

At Grace Church, we believe that it is in giving that we truly receive some of God’s greatest gifts.  We’ve reached out to the community by helping collect clothing and food items for WROC (Women Reaching Our Community).  Through Ladies Night at the Movies, we share inspirational films with residents at Grace Village, a homeless shelter for women in the Perry area. Many ladies collect small gifts throughout the year and deliver them to our elderly and shut-in adults as a loving reminder that they remain a part of Grace Church. The Women’s Ministry also provides a gift basket to each expectant mother in our congregation.  But a favorite activity for women young and old is our annual Christmas Ornament Swap where ladies cheerfully exchange, and sometimes steal, ornaments and other Christmas decorations while rejoicing in the spirit of the season.
