Dear Grace Church,

Love is an often used, but little understood word. Love encompasses a conceptual realm that defies true definition. We are told that God is love. To understand love, we must understand that way God manifests his love. Jesus is that very manifestation. When we love others, we are operating in Godly ways. However, we must love God in order to love others.

Sermon Series

This Christmas Eve I will spend time focusing on Luke 2:1-21 and provide a little real-world insight into how the physical impacts the spiritual. On Christmas day, I will cover the story of the Wise Men in Matthew 2:1-12. These outsiders saw something. On New Year’s Day I will preach on seeking the Kingdom of Heaven in Matthew 6:23-34.

Other Stuff

Let this be a time of celebration and joy. Take this time to reach out to those who might be mourning a loss or experiencing loneliness. Jesus was born in an out of way place and few people recognized it. When we attend to the lonely, we find Jesus already at work.
