Dear Grace Church,

Controlling the tongue is a keystone habit in our lives according to James. He says our speech dictates our lives and the direction of our lives. Our choice is whether we are destructive or constructive with our words. Sometimes truthful words do damage others, but our words must damage for good not for evil.

 Sermon Series

This week I will preach on James 3:13-18. In this passage we are given a view of what true wisdom is and where it comes from. This view of wisdom is counter-intuitive to the ways of the world.

 Other Stuff

I will be starting my Leadership Small Group on February 19th. It will be a 7-week series. I do not have all the dates down yet or an official time, but I will be getting that out soon. This group will be for any who wish to attend. Other small groups will be available as well. We will have more information about that soon.
