Don was raised in Thomasville, GA. He earned a Bachelors Degree in Finance from the University of Alabama in 1996. He then was employed in various positions in banking and sales before hearing the call to attend seminary in 2009. He attended Asbury Theological Seminary and earned a Masters Degree in Biblical Studies in 2011. He answered the call to become the Pastor at Grace Church of Perry in January of 2011.
Don married his wife (Anna) in 2000 and they now have 3 boys. Anna was raised on the mission field in Nantes, France. Together they have lived in Tuscaloosa, AL, Birmingham, AL, Castle Rock, CO, and Wilmore, KY. They are very happy to be settled into Perry, GA. In their marriage together, Don and Anna have helped to plant a church in Colorado, and served in various ministries in the churches they have attended. Don is passionate about teaching the Word of God and Anna loves seeing children nurtured in their faith at church.
Don’s ministry approach is based on the Great Commission in Matthew 28:18-20. In this simple yet challenging directive, Jesus instructs his followers to evangelize and then train people in the faith of Christ. The ability and authority to accomplish this mission is tied to the authority that Jesus possesses.

Catreece married her husband, Russ, in 1991 and they have 2 sons, 2 “daughters-in-love”, and 4 grand-dogs. Russ was raised in Stone Mountain, GA and has worked for over 32 years as a manager with FedEx Express. Catreece and Russ lived in Woodstock, GA, before settling in the Perry area in 1999. They currently serve together in Children’s Ministry at Grace Church each week through leading music worship, small groups, preschoolers, Sunday School, and Wednesday Night Grace Kids.
In their approach to ministry, they believe that children are our “stewardship” and they want to make sure that every kid knows Jesus and knows that they are loved by God. They want to encourage a healthy relationship with Jesus Christ and help develop kids emotionally, socially, and spiritually before sending them out into the world with a solid spiritual foundation in their faith.
